In Bangladesh, remittance is one of the most important economic variables in recent times as it has an impact on economic growth, increasing foreign exchange reserves,  nhancing national savings and increasing velocity of money. The USA boasts the second- argest number of Non-resident Bangladeshis, about 0.8 million, and it is also the top remittance sender for Bangladesh now.

Bangladesh-USA Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BUCCI) and USA-Bangladesh Business Links are going to organize “4th Bangladesh Remittance Fair 2025” on 19 & 20 April 2025 at Shanai Restaurant & Party Hall, Jackson Heights NY, USA.

Under the slogan “Legal Remittance, Better Bangladesh”, the “4th Bangladesh Remittance Fair 2025” will emphasize the role of transparent and compliant remittance processes in supporting Bangladesh’s economic growth and foreign reserve position.

The event will bring together key stakeholders from both the public and private sectors such as Banks, mobile financial service providers, app developers, money exchange houses, and channel partners to showcase their products and services, share insights, explore opportunities, and enhance the security and efficiency of remittance channels to the target Diaspora.

It may be mentioned that Honorable Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur has given his kind consent to participate as the chief guest at the Inauguration Ceremony of 4th Bangladesh Remittance Fair 2025.

Besides, Mr. Md. Hafizur Rahman, Administrator, The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), Chairman of Sonali Bank PLC. Mr. Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury, Chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) Mr. Abdul Hai Sarker, Chairman of National Bank Limited Mr. Abdul Awal Mintoo, Chairman of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC.
